This is every driver's nightmare ...

Although many think that this only happens in movies, it is common for people to have their brakes on their vehicles fail. This usually happens due to the rupture of the hoses in which there is hydraulic oil that drives your brakes.

However, what to do if the brakes on the vehicle fail?

The first thing you need to do is apply the foot brake a few times quickly. This will create pressure in the brake system and you may be able to brake. If that doesn't work, you have two options to help you slow down.

First aid is of course the handbrake, which will help you slow down the car a lot. Press the button on the handbrake, then raise the handbrake. If you hear your wheels slide, release the brake slightly, then raise it again. The handbrake is not that strong, but it will help you slow down and stop the vehicle later.

However, there is also engine braking to further help you slow down the car. While slowing down with the
handbrake, shift the engine into a lower gear, release the clutch, and then lower the gears to the lowest. By lowering to a lower speed, the engine itself will slow down your wheels, which will make the job of the handbrake easier and thus help you stop easier.

If you notice that the car does not stop fast enough and there is a risk of endangering someone's life, then try to hit something soft with the vehicle, such as bushes or metal sidewalks that are tucked in to stop the vehicle (
this is the last option).

You must have noticed that these are the most common car colors ...

The latest research has noticed that the most popular car color is white and that 36% of cars in the world have this color. In second place is black with 16%, gray with 13% and silver with 10%. As you can see for yourself, colors like green, red, blue and the like, take up only a small percentage, and car manufacturers have discovered why this is so.

They said that most cars are in black and white because they are neutral colors that are always in fashion and that go with everything. These colors will never be "out of fashion" and will never become boring and are best of all colors.

They also give a certain dose of elegance to all vehicles and make those vehicles look good even when they are 15 or 20 years old. Other colors are much worse under the influence of weather and sun, so black and white are for a reason the two ultimate colors used by car manufacturers.

So, if you have a car in white or black, it is very likely that you will sell it much better in the future.

The first two reasons why collisions most often occur are fast driving and the use of a mobile device ...

However, the latest research in Great Britain has shown that the third reason is something completely unexpected. It has been determined that a huge number of collisions occur due to bugs that are in the car and which frighten the driver.

Spiders, mosquitoes and other insects and arthropods frighten and shock drivers, which leads to them losing their attention and control over the vehicle and thus crashing their own and other vehicles. Of course, if this is the third most common cause in Britain, it does not mean that it is everywhere in the world, but we are sure that drivers in our area are afraid of bugs, especially women.

Research has also shown that 80% of women are involved in insect-induced collisions, which shows that they have far greater fear of these tiny inhabitants of our planet.

Hyperion has unveiled its new XP-1 prototype, which resembles a Bugatti that landed from space.

Described as the first chapter in the company's long-term vision to promote hydrogen as a new fuel, XP-1 is considered "the pinnacle of ten years of testing and research in hydrogen technology by over 200 researchers and scientists."

Starting with the exterior, the XP-1 has a bold design that will drive people crazy in a positive way. The company did not reveal too many details, but the model features a composite body reinforced with titanium and has a "vortex" air intake.

The car also has a "v-wing" door and a glass canopy that can be colored electronically for privacy. Other prominent ingredients include Kevlar's composite diffuser, LED lighting and active aerodynamic side spoilers that help improve cornering at high speeds. The sides are covered with solar panels, and Hyperion said they could be "articulated to follow the path of the sun."

The XP-1 rides on 20- and 21-inch wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires. They are supported by massive carbon ceramic discs measuring 18 inches (457 mm) at the front and 17 inches (432 mm) at the rear.

Although we only got a few insights into the interior, Hyperion said the model has a 98-inch (2,489mm) curved display and motion control technology. Other highlights include carbon fiber and titanium details as well as carbon fiber seats wrapped in hand-sewn leather.

The company said the XP-1 will rocket from 0-60 mph (0-96 km / h) in less than 2.2 seconds and reach a top speed above 221 mph (356 km / h). The car also has a range of 1,635 km (it can be charged in less than five minutes).

The model promises to be extremely light as it will weigh around 1,032kg thanks to a carbon titanium cockpit and lightweight body.

The Hyperion XP-1 will go into production in 2022 and only 300 units will be made.

Nowadays, it is difficult to know the gender of the designers of many modern cars. It is not uncommon for those who are surprised to learn that the exotic sports car Honda NSX was styled, designed by a woman, while the family multiven Honda Odyssey was taken care of by a man. However, until the early 1980s, men were the main speakers.

Some manufacturers, such as General Motors, for example, also had a women's department, but it was mainly concerned with the choice of colors and materials. Everything will change the moment the famous Italian design house Ghia decides to entrust the job of styling the new Ford prototype model to Marileni Corvasce, who will become the first woman to design the entire car from start to finish.

In the early 1980s, one of the most desirable new cars in America was the Pontiac Fiero. The small two-seater with a centrally placed engine attracted a large number of customers, and all that Ford could offer in a similar category was the EXP model.
Although the EXP was of similar dimensions, it shared a base with a cheap Escort and provided front-wheel drive with a front-mounted engine. No one was surprised that Fier's sales were far higher, so Ford decided to do something about it. Several EXP chassis were sent to Italy where the Ghia, which was otherwise owned by Ford at the time, had to develop a prototype model with series production in mind.

Ghia was then led by a man named Filippo Sapino and thought that Corvasce with her fourteen years of experience in an Italian firm would be the ideal person for the job. Unlike many square cars from that period, Marilena presented drawings with aerodynamic lines and a great deal of practicality. This move was obviously liked by Ford, so the development went without major problems.

The end result did not look at all like the EXP on which it was based. The aerodynamic style resulted in air resistance reflected in the coefficient of only 0.30, which was on a par with the leaders at the time, such as the Audi 100 and Nissan 300ZX. Ghia also chose the Brezza (“Wind”) label for the same reason.

The chassis also underwent major changes to accommodate Ford's 1.6-liter engine. It developed an identical 80 horsepower which it transmitted to the wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission. This was followed by the premiere at the Turin Motor Show in 1982, where Brezza attracted a lot of attention.
By then, however, Ford had completely “cooled off” from the idea of producing an EXP-based model and decided that Fier’s rival must own a larger unit. The Americans even contacted the famous Japanese house Yamaha, with a request to develop a completely new six-cylinder unit, and it would not be a good combination with the aforementioned EXP platform, without the need for major modifications.

It also meant that Brezza is not entering serial production, but many design lines have been used in the development of the future Probe model. Ford fans never waited to see rival Fiero since the project was shut down in the mid-1980s and Yamaha engines were used for the new Ford Taurus SHO.

Marilena Corvasce will continue to design models for Ghia until the late 1990s, that is, until a little over twenty years ago. Brezza changed owners several times, and today it is in private hands.
Luxury car brand has found a way to make Bugatti even more amazing ...

The French supercar maker recently unveiled the new Pur Sport, a $ 3.6 million super car marvel. Pur Sport brings a new aerodynamic configuration, tighter suspension settings, updated gearbox and high performance tires.

The aero upgrade of the new Chiron Pur Sport starts with an aggressive front, boasting wide air vents in the front bumper. There is also a front manifold that makes the vehicle appear much wider and generate more power than ever.

The rear end of the car is dominated by a huge rear wing with a span of 1.90 meters and creates a strong grip force, while the stunning diffuser also contributes to the car's flawless appearance, agility and aerodynamics.

Bugatti also came up with a new split lacquer design specifically for Pur Sport, with the lower part of the vehicle containing exposed carbon fiber to make this car look even lower than it normally would. On the side, this hyper car looks even nicer, as exposed carbon fibers blend beautifully with the base paint.

The Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport continues to draw power from a massive 8.0-liter V16 engine delivering 1,500 horsepower and 1,600 Nm of torque. But this hyper car will accelerate from 60 kmh (37 mph) to 120 km / h (80 mph) almost two seconds faster than the standard Chiron and will be able to run at a top speed of 350 km / h (217 mph).

When exiting your vehicle, open the door with your hand away from the door ...

Did it ever happen to you to park in a narrow street and just as you were about to open the door, another car flew past you? Then you must think, "Uh, I was lucky, if I opened the door, I'd be hit by a car."

Such accidents and troubles can be avoided by simply looking in the rearview mirror before exiting the car, but many people simply forget it and open the door without thinking. So this is a great trick that will give you safety and security.

If you open the door with your hand away from the door, your body will face the rearview mirror and you will automatically look into the rearview mirror each time before opening the door.

This way, you will always get out of your vehicle safely and also reduce the risk of accidents and injuries.
The Ford Mustang Mach 1 Coupe driven by Keanu Reeves in John Wick is now on sale for $ 169,000 ...

Before you ask yourself why this movie car has a very OK and decent price and why it doesn't cost millions, we have to tell you that this is a replica, that is, a copy of the car used in the movie. This replica is one of several that was used to make this movie. She is fully capable of driving and even got a warranty from the Ford company itself, which means that this is a Ford like any other.

Called HITMEN, this car features a 5.0 liter V8 engine that produces a whopping 1000 horsepower. Although it looks like a car coming from 1970, it has been completely modernized and contains systems such as ABS and anti-skid control. It also has a modern sound system with the latest audio and media center and makes it a pretty exceptional vehicle.

Its price is quite low, as cars in this range cost several hundred thousand dollars each, so the price of $ 169,000 is really not terrible and we are sure that this vehicle will sell very soon.

Here's how you should sit when driving your car ...

This time we will show you how you should sit in your vehicle and how you should position your seat, steering wheel, and head rest to make it better to ride, but also safer.

First of all, the seat of your car must be positioned so that your legs are in a slightly bent position. So your knees must be slightly bent when on pedals. If your legs are fully extended when you press the pedals, then that means your seat is too far and you need to get closer.
The hands, when resting on the steering wheel, must form a 90 degree angle between the forearm and the upper arm. If your arms are too stretched or bent, this means that your position is not good and you will not be effective in driving.

You also need to adjust the steering wheel height, so that you can see the dashboard through the upper steering wheel opening. If the steering wheel obscures the dashboard, that means its position is not good.
Lastly, the head rest should be tightly attached to your head, because if too far from your head, injury can occur when colliding or stopping abruptly.

Take a look at the clip that will show you how to position yourself properly and sit in your vehicle:

We decided to solve this mystery once and for all ...

Many talk about men with more money and better cars being far more successful at winning over women, and that women love when a man has a good job, lots of money and cars that everyone turns to. While it is normal for everyone to want the best and the most expensive things possible, is it true that it is the most important thing for women and that they prefer men who have better cars.

We decided to do a small survey, so we headed to the city center to ask the ladies the question "does it matter which car a man drives?". Here's what girls said:

Jena, 28 (28 is age): “It is nice to drive in a good car, but it is not something that is crucial for choosing a man. The brand and value of the car is not important to me, it is important to me that the car is only safe."

Michaela, 24: “The car says a lot about a man. But if one drives a expensive car, it does not mean that it is his and that the guy has money, but it can mean that someone has a rich father or friend. "

Johanna, 36: “When I can already choose, then I choose men who drive good cars. The same if and when I choose phones and other things in my life. "

May, 32: "It doesn't matter what the car is, it's important to have it and roll it."

Jennifer, 40: “The car used to be a luxury, but today it is no longer so. For good money, relatively good and newer cars can be bought, so it is important for me that a man has a car that is modern and safe. It doesn't have to be expensive, but I avoid those who drive 35-year-old cars that fall apart. "

Nicole, 23: “Of course the car is important. Car shows what the man has in store. I don't think it's a shame if women are looking for rich men, it's important to know what one wants and what makes him happy. "

Ana, 31: "A good car makes you feel nice at first, because it's a nice feeling, but in the end, you won't be with the car, but with the man who drives them, so I still pay more attention to the man himself."

So, as you can see, the answers were quite different, which tells us that not all women are obsessed with the brand and price of a vehicle. It is important to some and not to others, which just confirms that the tastes and interests are different.

If you have an expensive car, then you will attract a
girl who cares about that, and if you do not, you will meet a woman who will look for something else in you.
You can do this yourself ...

A punctured tire is something that all drivers fear. Although we all try to avoid it, it happens to everyone at least once in his life that he encounters broken glass or discarded nails and screws, and piercing your tire. Then we most often seek the help of the vulcanizer, wait in the lines and make an appointment to patch our tire.

However, there is a way you can do it yourself. All you have to do is buy a "tire repair kit" at auto parts store. With this set, you will be able to patch your tires several times, which is a great thing, especially if you are traveling somewhere because you can get your tire repaired on the spot.

When repairing, you do not even have to remove the tire, but can repair it while it is on the car, provided that you lift the wheel off the ground with a crane.

Patching is done with a specific tool, filing and adhesive cement that fills the hole and allows the patching to be successful. In the video clip below, you can see what the patching process looks like and how simple it is, so be sure to buy this reparation kit and put it in the trunk, as you never know when you might need it.

Batman would certainly like to drive this car ..

The Lamborghini Urus is probably the most impressive sports crossover in the world. However, the Mansory Company managed to make it even better.

First introduced to the world at the Geneva Motor Show, the Mansory Lamborghini Urus was named Venatus and delighted all fans of sports SUVs.

In the traditional Mansori way, overhauling and remodeling involves most of the Urus's outer parts and brings new front and rear bumpers, curved wheel arches, convenient side skirts, new wheels and an optional rear wing. The Venatus Urus is bathed in glossy black, offset by a series of carbon fiber parts and red accents.

One of the craziest parts of the SUV is the exhaust system of similar shape and design found on the Apollo Intensa Emozione model.

When the vehicle was presented in Geneva, it was painted an impenetrable shade of matte gray and complemented by orange accents, we thought it looked awful. However, after watching this video, we actually really like the new exterior parts, because they add a bit of aggression, and when the SUV is painted black, it looks much more powerful and exciting.

Under the hood, no modifications have been made, so the Urus is still running a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine that delivers 640 horsepower.

The Lamborghini Company has officially unveiled the concept of its new hypercar that looks like a superhero vehicle ...

Although we could see photos of the concept a few months ago, last week we were able to see for the first time live what this mighty supercar looks like. The Lamborghini V12 was unveiled in Monte Carlo and delighted all visitors with its futuristic design and bodywork that looks like it was taken off the race car.

“Lamborghini is a very young brand, and this is why we are here today to present our newest virtual vision in the form of a real model, with a highly futuristic and cool design to be enjoyed by the young generation of racing game and super sports car enthusiasts,” said Stefano Domenicali, chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.

The show car boasts advanced aerodynamics defined by sharp lines along with a large rear wing, Y-shaped headlights on both ends, and side windows inspired by the 1967 Marzal concept.

For power, the Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo uses the same powertrain as the Sian FKP 37. This means that it combines a 6.5-liter V12 with a mild hybrid system of 808hp total power, which achieves speeds from 0 to 100 km / h in less 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 350 km / h.

The doors on this car do not exist and are entered by pulling the cab backwards, just like fighter planes. When the cabin is opened, there is a driver-only seat, which means that this will not be a vehicle in which you will be able to drive friends, but in which you will feel incredible power, strength and speed.

Those who put winter tires on aluminum wheels can be in big problem ...

Most drivers change their tires seasonally by placing other set of tires on the same set of wheels. However, car experts, vulcanizers and mechanics find that this is not good, especially when you have expensive aluminum wheels.

Aluminum wheels are a very important detail on a vehicle that makes your vehicle look nicer and more modern. However, when winter conditions come these rims are not recommended, and here's why. The first thing that will endanger your aluminum wheels are salt and grits sprinkled on the roads due to frost and ice. Salt and grit bite the paint and can damage the aluminum causing your rims to crack and become weak. Also, due to snow and unevenness along the road, alloy wheels can be easily damaged and bent, as they are much more delicate and weaker than steel ones.

Also, aluminum becomes rigid at low temperatures, which can cause the wheels to crack, which is by no means good for drivers. That is why it is best to buy steel wheels on which to mount winter tires. Steel wheels are much more durable, and come with a much cheaper price, and although they have a less attractive appearance, they will ensure that you do not have a headache. Also, when a time for tire change come, it will be much easier for you to only replace the rims with mounted tires, than to go through the tire mounting procedure each time, which is a far more expensive and time-consuming process.
Golf has been with us since 1974 and has sold over 35 million units over seven generations, and is currently offered in more than 100 countries. Given the importance of Golf for the entire VW Group, it is not surprising that the company has invested as much as € 1.8 billion in the development of the new Golf 8.

The Wolfsburg plant in Germany will remain the most important for Golf production, as more than 2,000 copies of this model are produced there daily.

The Golf 8 is based on VW's MQB platform, with a vehicle length of 4284 mm (4255 mm in the "VII"), width of 1789 mm, height of 1456 mm, and wheelbase of 2636 mm. Here also is the fact that the coefficient of air resistance is 0.275.

According to German sources, the car will be more practical, economical and spacious, with more upmarket interiors and higher quality materials.

There is also a new infotainment system with a touch screen, head-up display, gesture control technology and a digital instrument panel, and it should be noted that the number of buttons inside has been drastically reduced.

In terms of the appearance of the exterior, there is no need to spend too many words here, because no drastic differences could be expected from the established company design vocabulary. Volkswagen plays it safe and there simply cannot be any experiments.

It should be mentioned here that there will no longer be a three-door version in the range, while the Caravan Golf 8 Variant will appear at the end of 2020 (and with about 50mm longer wheelbase compared to the current model).

As for the engine, we have a 1.0 liter TSI three-cylinder with 90hp and 110hp in gasoline, then a 1.5-liter TSI four-cylinder with 130hp and 150hp, and later comes a 1.5 liter TGI Evo is a natural gas-powered version.

The diesel engine offers a 2.0 liter four-cylinder TDI in 115hp and 150hp versions.

The all-electric version of the Golf will be gone as new Volkswagen ID.3 electric hatchback takes its place.

On the other hand, the hybrid offer will include Mild Hybrid versions of eTSI petrol engines with 110hp, 130hp and 150hp (with 48 volt electrical system), as well as the Plug-in Hybrid variant eHybrid, which comes with 1.5 liter petrol and an electric motor with a total of 150kW / 204hp as well as 13 kWh batteries). The stronger 245hp Plug-in Hybrid variant has already been confirmed, arriving a little later.

Offered from 2020 will be the Sport Golf GTI with 2.0 liter turbo petrol and 235hp, followed by the Golf GTI Cup with 290hp, as well as the Golf R which will have about 330hp. The Golf R will not have the so-called Drift mode or all-wheel steering as announced by the factory.

As for the Golf GTI, the package will also include larger alloy wheels, an aero package (front spoiler, sills, rear diffuser, rear roof spoiler ...), front honeycomb hood with red trim and GTI logo, leather steering wheel with flattened lower partly with red seams, as well as sport pedals and seats with a distinctive checkered pattern.

The sale of the Golf 8 will start in Germany in December, priced at around € 18,500 for the base model.

Changing the wheels is not too hard, but when the screws "get stuck" then hell starts ...

If you've changed the wheel at least once, you know how difficult it is to unscrew the screws on the rim. Although we have screwdriver wrenches in our tire change kits, they are simply not enough to turn old and rotten screws. Their distraction is difficult for several reasons. The first thing is the rust and dirt that settles and makes their release difficult, and the second reason is their tightness.

If you change the tires at tire repair shop, you will notice that they very often use pneumatic guns, which in a few seconds tighten and release all the screws. It is these guns that tighten the screw to the very limit that it is almost impossible to later unscrew it.

However, there is a way to help you unscrew all the screws with ease. All you have to do is make a big enough lever, and the physics will do its job. The bigger the lever, the greater the force of spin, and since the wrench you get in the tire changing kits is small, then you need to build on something else to help.

You can buy these accessories at various auto shops, but you can also use a plain hollow metal pipe that you simply put over the wrench to unscrew the screws.
