Great white sharks are one of the most iconic and well-known species of shark, and they are also one of the most misunderstood. Despite their reputation as ferocious predators, great whites are not typically found in aquariums. There are a few reasons why they are not kept in aquariums.

One of the main reasons why great white sharks are not found in aquariums is because they are highly migratory animals. Great whites are known to travel long distances in search of food, and they have been known to swim across entire ocean basins. It would be almost impossible to keep a great white shark in an aquarium because it would not be able to swim the distances that it needs to in order to stay healthy.

Another reason why great white sharks are not found in aquariums is because they are too large to be kept in most tanks. Great whites can grow up to 20 feet in length and weigh over 5,000 pounds, making them one of the largest species of shark. Aquariums simply do not have tanks that are large enough to accommodate a shark of this size.

In addition to being migratory and too large for most tanks, great white sharks are also difficult to keep in captivity because they require a specific type of diet. Great whites are apex predators and they rely on a diet of large marine animals, such as seals and other sharks. It would be difficult to replicate this type of diet in an aquarium setting.

Finally, great white sharks are not found in aquariums because they are protected under the law. Many countries have laws in place that prohibit the capture and keeping of great white sharks, as well as other threatened or endangered species. This is done in order to help conserve these species and ensure that they are not exploited for commercial purposes.

In conclusion, great white sharks are not found in aquariums because they are highly migratory animals that are too large for most tanks, have a specific diet that is difficult to replicate in captivity, and are protected under the law. While it would be fascinating to see a great white shark up close, it is important to respect the natural habitats and behaviors of these incredible animals.

There is no simple way to measure a dog's intelligence ...

As psychologist Stanley Coren wrote in the 1990s, dogs have a number of different intelligences: adaptive - cognition and learning, work - following orders and instinctive responsibilities for individual talents, while spatial, kinesthetic, interpersonal and many others we do not have to mention.

An expert in the study of animal behavior, Frans de Waal, confirmed on one occasion that humans try to assess the intelligence of animals according to limited and incorrect parameters, which are often accompanied by a bunch of irrelevant experiments.

While the laboratories of Yale and Duke University, as well as many others around the world, are working hard to study this issue, for now we have only one accurately measured intelligence, and that is working intelligence. In his book, The Intelligence of Dogs, Coren officially presented the results of his research conducted in front of 199 present judges in charge of assessing dog behavior. The final outcome of this study is incredibly consistent, however, Koren noted that a number of judges said that there is exceptions in every breed and that a lot depends on the training itself.

We present you the epilogue of the whole experiment and the brightest working dogs that exist today. These breeds are most suitable when it comes to learning new commands, for which they need less than five seconds and are obedient in 95% of cases. Discover them in our gallery.

In today’s fast-paced and rather stressful times, we struggle every day with problems that can drive us insane. It has been determined that more than 40% of people on the planet take some kind of sedative or tranquilizer, and there is also a large percentage of those who have become addicted to these drugs.

Stress is the greatest enemy of modern man and people are trying in every way to overcome it. Unfortunately, drugs act as the most powerful weapon, but they are often a double-edged sword. However, doctors now advise you to fight stress in another way, with the help of animals.

Research has shown that staying with pets has the same effect on our brains as sedatives.

"Petting drastically reduces stress, and walking dogs, brushing cats, as well as arranging aquariums and fishing reduce anxiety and generally increase happiness in an individual," said one of the doctors who led the research.

So, if you have problems with stress and if it seems to you that the only salvation is in medication, get one little shaggy creature and everything will be much easier for you.

Although the corona virus has crippled the tourist season on the entire planet, the attacks of these marine predators have been as numerous ...

Although scientists and researchers say that sharks do not like human flesh and that their attacks are just a substitute for identity, the people who shot these clips tell us that the situation is not always like that and that attacks by these predators are possible.

We found a pretty scary video compilation that will show you all the shark attacks from this year. Luckily. No one was injured in the clips, but everyone was under a lot of stress, because it is not easy to see a huge fish under your feet, which can dismember and kill you in a second.

Scientists were left in shock ...

Great white sharks are the most dangerous and one of the largest sharks in the world. Scientists have proven that these animals kill out of boredom and that is why they pose an incredible threat to all organisms that are in their vicinity.

Although great white sharks do not like human flesh, they often attack people because it is interesting to them and because they are curious, so they like to bite something they have never eaten before. Scientists recently caught a white shark that jumped 4.5 meters above the water in the hunt for one seal, making it a shark with a world record for high jump.

In the video below, you can see the moment that the scientists recorded and which went down in the history of animal research.
