Towards the end of World War II, Nazis sought solutions that would reverse the course of the war. Nazi weapons was innovative, but lack of time did not allow the final development of their weapons from imagination. Something is built, but most had not experienced combat use. Learn what secret Nazi weapon was planned.

1. Sonnengewehr

Although never built due to the very complicated plans, Solar cannon is supposed using satellites out of orbit to direct sun-rays on Earth. Spotlight on the satellite is supposed to be great about 9 square kilometers and at a height of 8,200 kilometers that reflect sufficiently strong beam that could burn a small town. Later, the ideas used for James Bond movie "Die Another Day".

2. V-1 Reichenberg

V1 rocket was supposed to be the forerunner of guided missiles of the type used in the presentUnfortunately, since then there was no real guiding technology, a rocket was supposed to manage by professional. Fortunately, the rocket was never used, although a lot of the pilots killed in the testing.

3. Fliegerfaust rocket launcher

This launcher is supposed to function as today's minigun, but despite good idea, did not experience too much success. He used a missile instead of bullets and edited solely on airplanes.

4. A9/A10 rockets

As the name implies, A9 and A10 missiles were supposed to serve the Germans to attack America directly from Europe. The range was 5.000 kilometers and the pilot was supposed to drop the warhead on US cities.

5. Sound gun

Germans are greatly tested the use of sound as a weapon, but thankfully they failed.

6. Henschel HS 132

In order to reduce the influence of G-force at high speeds and revolutions, the Germans were planning to set up a pilot in the lying position. Above the pilot is set BMW 003 jet engine, but unfortunately, in the final stages of testing the Russians broke into the base and stop the revolution in aviation.

7. Schwerer Gustav

"Heavy Gustav" or his sister "Dora", which is in the picture, was the biggest gun of World War II. Due to the weight he had to be on track, and to concept its power, it is enough to write that successfully destroyed the Russian supply bunker that was located under the sea. Later came the idea to switch Gustav to caterpillars, but this did not happen.

8. Ships class Graf Zeppelin

Before the war the Wehrmacht wanted supremacy on the seas, the construction of aircraft carriers, which would be at par with the US. After the start, the government has decided to give priority to submarines (U-Boat) and only one Graf Zeppelin was successfully launched into the sea. Unfortunately, he never experienced combat use, and after the war sunk by the Russian side.

9. Ships H class

Ships H class were to become the rulers of the world's seas. By the size they should be greater than the Japanese Yamato class that were much bigger than any US ship. With a range of 30.000 km ships H class could be a threat anywhere in the world.

10. Panzer VIII Maus

Since we have already written about the maus, as the largest tank of World War II, we will not make it longer. Maus weight 180 tons and was supposed to turn the tide, but because of the Russian offensive made only one instance, a prototype. He has two heavy cannon, one of 128 mm and the other of 75 mm. Due to the heavy weight Maus could not pass by bridges, and was prepared for passage at the bottom of the river, watertight and with snorkel.

11. Landkreuzer P1000 Ratte

Even Maus was nothing compared to Landkreuzeru L1000 which was designed in 1942, Krupp. Names Ratte (rat), this tank was supposed to be about 30 meters long, weighs about 1000 tons and high as four-storey building. Ratte is supposed to manage 40 people while the armament consisted of two guns of 280 mm and 128 mm. With these weapons in this tank would be 8 anti-aircraft nests for protection of aircraft. With 8 diesel engine, Ratte was to achieve a speed of 40 km / h and a range of 200 kilometers. Right Nazi weapon that was supposed to tip the balance.

12. Krummlauf periscope rifle

Although a great idea, Krummlauf rifle has not had much success due to the fact that she could not be used longer. The reason is of course changes the direction of the bullet in the barrel, which is very detrimental to the rifle.

13. Horten Ho 229

Horten Ho 229 was the first jet bomber in the world. He had a range of 900 kilometers at a speed of 900 km / h at an altitude of 15 kilometers. It was built only three copies, which was not enough for a reversal in the war.
Forest in Russia, near St. Petersburg, is the eternal monument to the horrors of the Second World War. What makes this forest apart from others is that the trees in it literally united with helmets, grenades and other weapons discarded during the fighting in this war.

These images of military equipment from World War II swallowed by trees in one area of Russia, called the Nevsky Pjatačok serve as symbols that remind us of the terrible consequences of the Second World War.

Most of the equipment represents Russian arms used during the fight, although there is a German weapon to, which was used for a terrible siege of Leningrad.

On that occasion killed 260,000 Red Army soldiers trying to liberate Leningrad, and 160,000 German soldiers died resisting.

According to these figures we see that the nature and war are unequivocally contrary, that time heals all wounds, or that nature will not forget us.

These helmets probably belonged to the Soviet soldiers and fell during the shooting, when these trees were just young stems.

On the picture on the left we see a grenade (potentially still active) protruding from the wood, and on the picture on the right we see a shovel of military engineer trapped in a tree.

In this picture you can see a grenade, Polish 75mm cannon, which protrudes beneath the folds of the bark on a tree.

"Namesakes" known and respected global arms often are people who created it. The custom live in the West and in the East, the family "Beretta" is oldest factory.
AK-47

Automat Kalashnikov out in 1947 the abbreviated AK-47, and after the recent death of its creator, remains the most famous military rifle in the world. Devices known by evil, often owe their good name to their inventors - I guess from there, it was a thankless gunner interlard name "precision mass murderer", "mower infantry" or "effective cannibal."

"Kalashnikov", since after the war, made almost the whole world: They are not, however, made up of Western countries, although many American soldiers during the Vietnam War like more the Soviet "shooters" from their M-16. A previously just an American rifle was an absolute hit.

"Thompson" is, in fact, has remained an icon of Chicago Prohibition era. It was conceived by John Thompson 1919th , and that gun was mentioned at the beginning of the Yugoslav wars . "Thompson" with the barrel or the traditional framework, like thieves, gendarmes, soldiers, collectors - who love them even today.

"Smith and Wesson" also are among the better known American names. For them, we heard back in the mid 19 century, and celebrated them dirty Inspector Harry, aka Clint Eastwood. Manufacturer owes name to partners Horace Smith and Daniel Wesson, whose brother Edwin has previously made revolvers. And it is not the first.

"Colt," Samuel, also didn't invented the revolver, but perfected earlier invention, making it available to customers - a gunfighters. And it is in America always been the main goal. That is, after all how Tesla beat Edison. When Colt booths from the keg started to wear on the waist, dropped sharply in price genuine heroes, those who rushed to the chest tube the enemy, hoping to miss these, because they would then have to take forever to recharge (if not heroes reduced value, it is life).

Winchester" sounds like a province of England (which maybe it is, have not checked), but also the name of a family, to which he belonged and the present Oliver, was born and died, "round" years (in 1810., And 1880), the American businessman and politician. It is understood that the aforementioned "Smith and Wesson" financially struggling with one of its patents, and is, as a manufacturer of textiles, "slid" in their backyard, where they assembled the rifle-bolt. And so the white man took the Wild West.

"Gatling", however, was the name of the weapon that was used when the white men slaughtered one another in the American Civil War. It's time huddled military ranks - and amputation as a primary method of treatment, and can only imagine what kind of horror among Southern soldiers made a tube from which the crackling gunfire. This, however, is not the right slot, because someone had to turn the handle. Richard Gatling a name which northerners (winners) should be grateful.

"Heckler & Koch" specials sounds as sweetly as the "Kalashnikov" foot soldiers. After the Second World War, Edmund Heckler & Theodor Koch saved are what can be saved from one on "Mauser" (Peter Paul Mauser, 1838-1914) factory in disbanding. A decade later, they made a rifle for the Bundeswehr and later the famous MP-5 machine, using famous commandos.

"Tokarev" is another proof that the Soviets followed the tradition of "baptism" weapon name maker. Fedor Vasilievich Tokarev was, in fact, the author of the famous EKVD (and KGB etc.) pistol "Tokarev TT". Are well served throughout the war, but the back of his head and political enemies. Some researchers Life and Adventures Broz-Tito insisted that he, before the war, the Comintern printings texts signed with "T. T. "Who knows why ...

"Beretta" is an indication that the Italians, no matter how dubious military skills, like shooting. Firearm under the name comes from the oldest manufacturer in the world, from the factory of arms "Pietro Beretta", founded in 1526. Beretta family even today is the owner of the company.

Constructs "baptized"  planes to

Soviet military and civilian aircraft, carrying the names of the construction office in which they are designed, not by "nameless" factories where they are assembled. That is how the "Mikoyan and Gurevich" (MiG), "Sukhoi", "Ilyushin", "Tupolev", "Jakovljev - Jak" ... Perhaps the most famous of them, Igor Sikorsky, at the time of Imperial Russia produced a giant four-engine bomber "Ilya Muromets". Sikorski then went to America and made his name by designing helicopters, which bears his name.

Germans Willy Messerschmitt, Hugo Junkers and Ernst Heinkel had the same honor - the deadly aircraft carry their name.
