Research Say: Overtime work leads to hair loss

Here's what the latest studies have shown ...

The latest research in South Korea aimed to determine if work could affect baldness in men. In the course of this research, almost 14,000 men between the ages of 20 and 59 were interviewed and who generally had different jobs, between 2013 and 2017.

The respondents were divided into three groups - Normal, Long and Extremely Long. The normal group worked the standard 40 hours during the week, the Long group worked 52 hours, and the Extremely long group more than 52 hours.

It was found that those who worked 52 hours during the week were twice as likely to lose their hair than those who worked for 40 hours, and those who worked more than 52 hours were more likely to lose their hair than retain it.

Researchers say the main reason for this is the stress,
which has at every job and that exposure to stress for enough hours is enough to affect your hormones and body processes that lead to hair loss. Also, the men who worked harder were more nervous and anxious and also had health problems.
