5 great winter alcoholic beverages


Here, finally we got real winter, buried us this year's first snow, and temperatures in the next days will not cuddle. This is the perfect time to relax in the warmth of home in the company of family, friends or the better half. However, it is also the perfect time to replace your "summer" drink with something more appropriate winter atmosphere, so we today bring you a few recipes that will delight your taste buds, to ensure a sufficient amount of alcohol to be submitted and the most boring family gatherings and pleasantly surprise your friends.

Spicy mulled wine


Mulled wine is a favorite drink during the cold winter months, and although it is excellent in the variant in which you usually use it, only with added sugar, cinnamon and cloves, next time be sure to try and "spicy" version that works on this recipe.

ingredients:

     -1l red table wine
     -cup of water
    -a few slices of lemon
     -few slices of orange
     -half a cup of sugar
     -teaspoon of pepper
     -two teaspoons cardamom seeds
     -three teaspoons of honey
     -cinnamon in stick form

Preparation:

Throw all ingredients except cinnamon in a bowl and cook for about fifteen minutes, and then put a team together, pour in the mixture into cups, garnish with cinnamon stick and enjoy the true festive drink.
 


Christmas rum punch 

If by any chance you are not thrilled with mulled wine, then it may be time to try a punch. Punch is a drink that originated in India, and in Europe it was brought in the 17th century British sailors. If nothing else, then you are obliged to try it at least because of them who came all the way.

ingredients:

     -1 liter of red wine
     -0.5 l of black tea
     -0.5 liters of rum
     -3 cloves
     -1 orange
     -1 lemon
     -500 g sugar
     -1 cinnamon stick

Preparation:

In a pot pour the wine, tea, squeeze the lemon and orange and add per reel in a bowl. In the same bowl, add cinnamon and cloves and simmer for making sure that the mixture does not boil. Pour the mixture into an ovenproof bowl of punch and smaller pot grab as much sugar, and add the rest of the punch. Cup with sugar hold over bowls of punch, soaked in rum and ignite. While still burns, sugar and rum slowly pour the punch. In the end all together stir, turn off the flame, add the rest of rum and drink is ready for serving. 

Cocktail "Campfire"


Campfire is a perfect cocktail for skiing, just be sure to start with drinking only after lowering the snowy slopes led to the end in order to avoid unnecessary breakdowns.

ingredients:


     -45 ml bourbon
     -4 pieces of ginger crystallized      
     -2 uštrcka Bitter orange
     -15 ml of fresh lemon juice
     -15 ml honey
     -30 ml of apple wine (cider)

Preparation:

Mix the lemon, ginger and honey, and then insert into a shaker with cider, bitter and bourbon. Mix well and pour into a glass, then garnish with a slice of apple.

Negus

Negus is another variation of mulled wine, but in this case usually a dessert wine ruby port that is fruity and very sweet, and is often used as an aperitif.

ingredients:

     -Boca ruby port
     -water
     -Two tablespoons of sugar
     -1 lemon

Preparation:

Peel the lemon, being careful to remove all the white pieces, and then cut into thin strips. Mix lemon with port and sugar and heat the mixture until the sugar dissolves. After this mixture add a cup of boiling water. After that, the drink is ready for serving.
 

Ireland hot chocolate

It is clear that as soon as the name of the drinks mentioned Ireland the drink must be an alcoholic. But in this case it is a only a small percentage of alcohol, so in this simple winter drink can be enjoyed and those at the end of the evening drive home.

ingredients:

     -50 ml of original Bailey`s liqueur
     -hot chocolate
     -whipped cream

Preparation:

In a cup pour Bailey`s liquor, and then prepare hot chocolate and add it to the cup. At the top, add whipped cream and sprinkle with bread crumbs to taste chocolate. The ideal drink for those who want to stay sober.
