Spanish automotive journalist Gerard Farre used the car show in Geneva to find out from auto company representatives how to properly pronounce brand names such as Mitsubishi, Mazda, Hyundai, Nissan, Pagani, Peugeot, Citroen, Mercedes-Benz, Suzuki, Toyota, Volkswagen, Koenigsegg, Lamborghini and many others.
