2016 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe

Chevrolet's Camaro, is cheap "muscle" car that overtakes the attention of many enthusiasts around the world, including us ...

Excellent style of the car coupled with powerful engine, which provide a combination for competition, led by the Dodge Challenger can be difficult to overtake.

Here is an overview to how next model could look like and what they would have to adopt new.

Design:

The look is inspired by the model C7 Corvette. You can see the influence of Michael McGee's concept, which appeared earlier this year, as his eyesight to how Camaro should look like.

The front part was accepted last Chevrolet design changes, when the grid is divided into two parts, leaving quite an impression at first sight. New headlights are continuing on the long hood and fenders that look like C7 model. In the same line extending through the door by the end of the body.

Interior:

Interior design has always been solid in these models, but there is always room for improvement. Transparency is something that the people particularly complain. All of these have tried to correct, and the result you can see in the pictures.

Drive:

The new generation of engines will probably be similar to the competition, 3.6 engine with 6 or 8 cylinders, and is expected to be 2.0 turbo 4-cylinder option. Connected to them is likely to be seven-speed manual transmission and eight-speed automatic transmission, with rear-wheel drive.

Do not expect to get back the beast from the model Z/28 7.0, but variants of the twin-turbo 6.2 V8 LT1 engine, similar to the one in the C7.

Platform and handling:

Goodbye Zeta, welcome Alpha. Platform Holden Commodore, the fifth generation retires. Replace the platform that is used in the Cadillac ATS model and other new GM vehicles. Expected improvements in weight, performance and consumption.

Price:

This detail is still unannounced, but don’t expect any numbers lower than the cost of the current model, which starts from $24,550.

Competition:

Unless you live under a rock, you do not know who the competition are. The legendary showdown that began in 1967, in response to the Mustang, Chevrolet, remains even today. There is a Dodge Challenger, which has just received cosmetic changes and looks better than ever.

It is expected that the coupe and convertible versions appear at the end of 2015 or early 2016. Until then, see one of the possible appearance of the car, all eagerly await.
